Blakey O’Brien Irish dancers enjoy two modern and spacious facilities for their classes. Our Chinook studio is 2400 square feet with a sprung floor, mirrors, exercise and yoga equipment, a small practice studio, two washrooms, a mini kitchen, and a spacious lobby. Our Bonavista location is in the Bonavista Village Mall (Bonavista Downs) and we have 1700 square feet of open studio with a small practice studio adjacent, two washrooms and sprung flooring.
We are exercising extra caution and employing strict cleaning and hygiene practices during COVID-19 to ensure the safety of all our attendees.
We have ample parking at both studios and our locations are easy for parents and dancers to access.
The Chinook Studio is used for dancing classes, fitness groups, modelling classes and community events, plus it is available for for photography and public rentals. In addition to teaching Irish Dance, Barbara, our founder, is a professional photographer and videographer. Our studio spaces are designed primarily for Irish dancing classes, but also as spaces for community members.
Dancers may rent the studio for practice sessions or book a private lesson in the space with one of the Blakey O’Brien teachers.
